Apex Legends is a fast-paced squad-based online multiplayer battle royale game featuring squads of three Legends. The last squad to survive is the winner! It features a lineup of outlaws, soldiers, misfits, and misanthropes, each with their own set of skills. The Apex Games welcome all comers – survive long enough, and they call you a Legend

When the Respawn team reached out to us about bringing Apex Legends to Nintendo Switch we were blown away. We are huge fans of Apex Legends, and couldn’t wait to get started. We knew that it would be a huge technical undertaking to get the game on the Nintendo Switch, but that we were up to the challenge! Little did we know that not only would it be a technical challenge, but it would be a development challenge with a worldwide pandemic in the middle of development!

The Nintendo Switch version launched in early March 2021, with Season 8.1. We look forward to continuing to work on Apex Legends for many seasons to come.
